What is the NICEIC?
The National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC) is one of several organisations which regulates the training and work of electrical enterprises in the UK. The NICEIC is one of several providers given Government approval to offer Competent Person Schemes to oversee electrical work within the electrical industry.
Approved Contractors and Domestic Installers are required to issue a safety certificate for all their electrical work to confirm that the installation has been designed, constructed, inspected and tested in accordance with the national electrical safety standard, BS 7671 – Requirements for Electrical Installations.
The NICEIC operates a complaints procedure and guarantee of the standards scheme.

Enrolment with the NICEIC is voluntary, but we regard it as a badge of competency and professionalism for the service and have made it a priority to enroll Livewire Electrical Design & Installation Ltd.
